Things to Consider
Here are some things to consider when searching for the right wedding photographer.
Digital vs. Film - Be aware of what you’re looking at. Do you like the classic look of film or are you drawn to the modern look of digital.
Your personalities should mesh - You’ll be with your photographer all day, you two should be cool with one another. You don’t have to be best friends but you don’t want to be around someone akward on your wedding day. Find someone that gets you and you feel comfrotable around.
Look for someone well rounded - An artist who is organized can be hard to come by - Being amazing with a camera is a small part of being a great wedding photographer. They also need to be organized, a team player, a leader and great in pressure situations. A wedding is a dynamic event that needs attention to detail make sure the photographer is well rounded beyond the camera.
The best will want to probably talk on a call of FaceTime - Sound artist will want to know you, your vision and personalities. Don’t be surprised if they want to talk.
Experience is priceless - 7 out of 10 photographers you see will be out of the industry in less than two years. Why? Don’t risk going with inexperience choose an established artist that is well respected within the industry.
